[HIGH FIVE] We gave a High Five to Morgan Preston, a Senior Master Coach at [solidcore] in Austin, TX.
WellcommATX: Where do you work…out?
Morgan Preston: I take [solidcore] about four times a week. Some other coaches I often take at [solidcore] are Carrie Zachary, Adam Paul, and Heather Johnson. I also run throughout Downtown Austin and love CorePower Yoga!
WATX: What does “wellness” mean to you?
MP: I like to look at wellness as a holistic approach to making your life better. I believe connecting mind, body, and spirit leads to creating the best version of myself. And I truly believe everything starts with kindness: to yourself and others!
WATX: What are your wellness goals over the next twelve months?
MP: I've recently been running more, so I think running a half or full marathon next year would be awesome!
WATX: Who are some people who inspire you, motivate you, or keep you accountable when it comes to your wellness?
MP: My [solidcore] clients are huge inspirations to me and hold me accountable to doing the work! My partner Josh Halpern is a runner and a huge inspiration and accountability partner! His dedication and drive are very motivating.
WATX: What advice would you share with someone looking to change their wellness routine?
MP: Find something that makes you light up inside and get excited to be there! And know it does not have to be a huge commitment. Even twenty minutes of exercise is great for your body!
