[HIGH FIVE] We gave a High Five to Maddie Asbridge, an Instructor at S2 Fitness Studio and Pvolve Austin Downtown in Austin, TX.

WellcommATX: Where do you work…out?

Maddie Asbridge: I usually take spin classes Downtown at RIDE Indoor Cycling. I also love dropping into classes at Pvolve and S2, and I’m always exploring new studios around ATX!

WATX: What does wellness mean to you?

MA: Wellness has meant different things to me at different points in life. Right now, it’s all about finding balance—nurturing both my physical and mental wellbeing, and surrounding myself with people who uplift me and push me to grow.

WATX: What are your wellness goals over the next twelve months?

MA: I love trying new things! Each year, I challenge myself to add something fresh to my routine—whether it's a new workout or a journaling habit. This year, I’ve been focusing on consistency and staying grounded, and I want to keep that going.

WATX: Who are some people who inspire you, motivate you, or keep you accountable when it comes to your wellness?

MA: There's so many! Just to name a few: Molly Joy, Skylar Boykin, and Ilene Coffee. They all inspire and motivate me in different ways.

WATX: What advice would you share with someone looking to change their wellness routine?

MA: Don’t be afraid to just try something once—even if it feels a little out of your comfort zone. I’ve learned the most by just going for it instead of overthinking or letting fear get in the way. You never know what could end up being your new thing!
