WellcommATX: Where do you work…out?

Jasmine Sharp: sharpbody pilates.

WATX: What does wellness mean to you?

JS: Wellness encompasses "the whole." It's mental, spiritual, and physical. It’s how we sleep, live, and workout. It’s who we surround ourselves with, which nutrients we consume, and who and what we listen to.

WATX: What are your wellness goals over the next twelve months?

JS: Balance. Being a Pilates entrepreneur, I dive in, both with my business and with my daughter. Everything else gets a back burner spot. For me, wellness over the next twelve months means re-igniting the fire that started it all. I loved wellness and fitness, and now that it consumes my life, I need to back up and begin again. I need to explore more workouts outside my bubble, have smoothie dates, walk Austin, and take in the sunsets. I need to get out and meet new people and really go back to life's simple pleasures and find love in the art of doing nothing.

WATX: Who are some people who inspire you, motivate you, or keep you accountable when it comes to your wellness?

WATX: What advice would you share with someone looking to change their wellness routine?

JS: Get friends who also want that change: it's easier to have an accountability bestie. Follow Instagram accounts that motivate you. Listen to podcasts that are reputable and provide value.
