[HIGH FIVE] We gave a High Five to Lexi Delventhal, an Instructor at S2 Fitness Studio in Round Rock, TX.

WellcommATX: Where do you work…out?

Lexi Delventhal: I teach and train at S2 Fitness Studio, home of all things VersaClimber and high-energy movement.

WATX: What does wellness mean to you?

LD: Wellness is about showing up for yourself in small, consistent ways. It’s not about being perfect because honestly, none of us have the time or energy for 100% effort every day. It’s the little things we choose that make the biggest impact: stepping outside for a quick walk, journaling for five minutes, taking a class when you need to sweat, or just giving yourself rest when you need that instead. It’s fluid. It changes with your life, your stress level, your season. But when you keep choosing yourself, even in tiny ways, it adds up to something really big.

WATX: What are your wellness goals over the next twelve months?

LD: I’m focusing on building routines that actually support my energy, not drain it. That looks like: making movement a daily non-negotiable (even if it’s short), making food choices that help me feel strong and clear, and creating space in my life for things that genuinely energize me, not just fill my schedule. I want the next year to feel intentional with more consistency and habits that make me feel like the best version of myself.

WATX: Who are some people who inspire you, motivate you, or keep you accountable when it comes to your wellness?

LD: I always feel incredible after taking a class with Ilene Coffee, Vicky Handy, Liz Hawkins, or Victoria Thompson. Each of them brings such strong energy, and just being around them makes me want to level up! And Pia Beck is truly on another level. The community she built at S2 changed my life, and I’ll always be grateful that she believed in me and helped me find my passion for teaching.

WATX: What advice would you share with someone looking to change their wellness routine?

LD: Try something new, even if it scares you a little. Seriously. Sometimes the only thing standing between you and the routine that finally clicks is a modality you haven't met yet. I was always strength-focused and avoided cardio until I tried VersaClimbing, and now I’m obsessed. Not every class or program you try will be “your thing,” but each one teaches you something about what you enjoy, what pushes you, and what helps you feel your best. The more you explore, the easier it becomes to build a routine you can actually stick with long-term. Wellness gets so much lighter when you’re doing something you genuinely like.
