Wellcomm: Where do you workout?

Lauren Lee: I workout at VITA Well Pilates Studio and then use Lifetime for recovery and weighted workouts!

WC: What does wellness mean to you?

LL: Wellness extends beyond your workout. I host monthly events at the studio to bring people together to improve their mental health and physical wellbeing, too!

WC: What are your wellness goals over the next twelve months?

LL: I want to improve my recovery time, so that includes acupuncture with Dr. Izabel Farynick, resting between teaching classes, and prioritizing sleep!

WC: Who are some people who inspire you, motivate you, or keep you accountable when it comes to your wellness?

LL: I love following other local Pilates instructors like Taylor Phillips and Malina Murphy, and I love to follow Jenna Palek for a mix of business and fitness!

WC: What advice would you share with someone looking to change their wellness routine?

LL: Start small! It doesn’t all have to be done overnight. I found Pilates when I was in a very scary spot in my life, and it has built me up mentally and physically. Wellness is your entire life! There is no need to rush it!
