WellcommATX: The Best of Austin's Wellness Community
WellcommATX is the email newsletter bringing you the best of Austin’s wellness community. Get On The List and get Wellcomm sent directly to your inbox. Have a friend who would love Wellcomm? Then please forward our email or tag them on our IG.
[High Five] We gave a High Five to Mollie Musgrave, Owner of The Modern Human Method Personal Training and a YoStrong, THAW, Power Interval, and Cycle Instructor at YTX Downtown/North in Austin, TX.
Wellcomm: Where do you workout?
Mollie Musgrave: I love to work out at YTX, SoulCycle, Prana Wellness Club, Y7 Studio, Life Time South Lamar, and Studio Three.
WC: What does wellness mean to you?
MM: Wellness means creating balance between the mind and body. It involves taking care of yourself as a whole by prioritizing physical strength, nutrition choices, mental well-being, recovery, and the practices that allow you to feel your best both inside and out.
WC: What are your wellness goals over the next twelve months?
MM: My wellness goals center on creating holistic balance between my mind and body while building strength, resilience, and confidence from the inside out. I am focused on strengthening my hips and glutes after a major injury, while also supporting and repairing my digestive system so I can feel strong, energized, and healthy for my clients and pour into them.
WC: Who are some people who inspire you, motivate you, or keep you accountable when it comes to your wellness?
MM: Some people in the Austin area who inspire me are Cassidy Rhodes, Andrea Wright, Jessica Clark, Makenzie Mowat, Chris Chandler, and Dr. Gabrielle Wagabaza.
WC: What advice would you share with someone looking to change their wellness routine?
MM: If you’re ready to change your wellness journey, start by focusing on small, sustainable habits that support your mind and body rather than trying to change everything at once. You don’t have to navigate it alone. My personal training business, The Modern Human Method, helps you build a strong foundation, create a plan that works for your lifestyle, and stay accountable as you become the strongest, healthiest version of yourself!

[WellcommATX Hit Event] Starting Friday, September 11th through Sunday, September 27th: Free Pilates Preview Classes
How do we pick our Hit Events? They’re curated exclusively for our WellcommATX Community from former High Fives. Each week, we’ll highlight one standout fitness event in the WellcommATX email. This could be:
a group workout
a pop-up fitness event
a race or charity run
a pickleball tournament
a cycling ride
a recovery event or
anything else fitness-related
These events will be shared with all Wellcomm email subscribers, but submissions from former High Fives who are subscribers are prioritized, ideally for events they’re organizing, leading, or personally involved with.
We’ll feature one event per week, so spots are limited. We’re grateful for everything our High Fives do for our fitness community and are excited to share these exclusive ongoing updates from the best of Austin!
That’s this week’s edition of WellcommATX. Like what you read? Get On The List and get future editions sent directly to your inbox. Have a friend who needs to read Wellcomm? Forward our email to them or tag them on our IG. Until next time, take care of yourself, and take care of each other.
