[FREE CLASS] Before there was WellcommATX, we launched WellcommDC on Monday, December 4th, 2023, nearly two years ago and right around the time of our birthday. To celebrate, we’re giving away four free spots to a noon Barry’s class with Phillip Solomon on Monday, December 1st. [You can read Phillip’s High Five here.] Sign up for a spot here, then we’ll notify you if you’re on the list!
[HIGH FIVE] We gave a High Five to Casey Toural, a Community Vibes Producer at FULLCIRCLE ATX and a Mind and Body Fitness Coach in Austin, TX.
WellcommATX: Where do you work…out?
Casey Toural: Currently working out of Squatch Frontier Fitness.
WATX: What does wellness mean to you?
CT: Wellness means feeling aligned, balanced and grounded: not just physically healthy, but mentally clear, emotionally regulated, and driven by a sense of purpose.
WATX: What are your wellness goals over the next twelve months?
CT: I’m doing the Otillo Swim Run on November 9th, the Hyrox Dallas Solo on November 21st, the Austin International Half Marathon in January, the Hyrox Miami Doubles, the Austin Captex Tri, and hopefully my first ever Ironman 70.3.
WATX: Who are some people who inspire you, motivate you, or keep you accountable when it comes to your wellness?
CT: I have to say I have had the chance to train along with three incredible women who have inspired me through my fitness journey in Austin: Danielle Gertner, Abby Bandi, and Elysia Vickas. These three amazing ladies have inspired me in my fitness journey because they embody strength, confidence, and authenticity. They’ve shown me that true power comes from owning who you are and pushing your limits without apology. They’re uniquely beautiful and capable, each in their own way, and they’ve supported me wholeheartedly since the moment we met. Someone who keeps me accountable is my incredible partner Riley Buettner. Seeing his dedication and consistency inspires me to stay committed. He’s always my biggest motivator and supporter. He believes in me when I doubt myself, and that kind of encouragement makes all the difference.
WATX: What advice would you share with someone looking to change their wellness routine?
CT: Never forget your why. Understand and write down why you want this. Having a deeper purpose gives your routine meaning and direction.
